Liability Waiver & Release of Claims

Pickleball in the Pines with Lee Whitwell – September 12, 2026

Please read this document carefully before registering. By purchasing a ticket and checking the acknowledgment box at checkout, you agree to the terms below.

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand and acknowledge that participation in the Pickleball in the Pines clinic (the "Event") involves physical activity and inherent risks, including but not limited to: bodily injury, sprains, fractures, or other physical harm; accidents caused by other participants; and risks associated with outdoor or court-based athletic activity. I voluntarily assume all such risks.

2. Release of Liability

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Event, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, personal representatives, and assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue DropPosse, its owners, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and affiliates (collectively, "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury (including death) that may be sustained by me in connection with participation in the Event.

3. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any loss, liability, damage, or cost they may incur due to my participation in the Event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

4. Medical Authorization

I authorize the Released Parties to seek emergency medical treatment on my behalf if I am unable to do so myself. I understand I am responsible for any costs associated with such treatment.

5. Photo & Media Release

I grant DropPosse permission to photograph or record me during the Event and to use such images or footage for promotional, educational, or marketing purposes without compensation.

6. Governing Law

This waiver shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved in Riverside County, California.

7. Acknowledgment

I confirm that I have read this Liability Waiver & Release of Claims in its entirety, that I understand its terms, and that I am signing it voluntarily. I am 18 years of age or older, or have obtained parental/guardian consent.
